Today, Swedish House Mafia announced this tour will be their last with a brief message on their website. There’s not much to be said other than beginning to speculate what locations they will add to their last leg of the tour. Will they show up at the first US Sensation in Brooklyn? That remains to be seen, but we can all be sure that the last few shows they do will involve some grandiose production.

It’s also hard to say, but “touring” is different than breaking up the group. This doesn’t necessarily mean Swedish House Mafia will stop producing music, nor does it explicitly state they will not play anymore shows at all. The statement purely states they will no longer have a set tour. Let’s hope it doesn’t truly mean the end of a group so influential to dance music over the past few years.
