This Thursday July 19th, Bounce Boat presented by Bounce Media Group will be taking its second sail of the summer out on the Hudson River. Now for those of you who don’t know, Bounce Boat is no typical sightseeing ferry ride around the Hudson, but NYC’s first one night only EDM cruise. Now, what better to do on a summer night then spend it surrounded by friends, drinks, and of course amazing music?
The first Bounce Boat featuring artists David Berrie, Matt Goldman, The Disco Fries, and EEKO, set sail back in May and proved to be a huge success. So when we learned another one would be departing from Pier 83 on the West Side again this weekend, missing it was simply not an option.
Headlining Thursday’s festivities will be Jesse Marco. First starting out DJing at prep school parties in Manhattan when he was just 16, his enormous knowledge for music and skill as a producer have since taken him around the world, spinning at parties for big name celebrities such as Jay- Z and Russell Simmons. Heavily influenced by his parent’s music collection, Jesse’s music blends older rock, soul, and funk sounds with newer hip-hop and electro ones, giving his sets a really unique feel. Earlier this year he released his debut single, ‘Daddy Cool’ on Big Beat/Atlantic Records, which remained atop Beatport’s House Chart for weeks. Needless to say, this guy is sure to give the people on Bounce Boat a set to remember.
Another addition to the party will be Toronto electro house duo, Dzeko and Torres. Beginning their career back in 2009, the two have since continued to produce and gain support from the likes of Chuckie, Mark Mendes, Jus Jack, Hardwell, and many others. With original releases on CR2 and Dirty Dutch records, as well as chart-topping remixes, it clear these two are well on their way to truly making a name for themselves in the electronic world. I can’t wait to see what these two have in store for the crowd on Bounce Boat and where their skills will lead them in the future.
On board will also be Manhattan based DJ, Dalton. Holding residencies at some of the city’s hottest clubs including Avenue, LAVO, and Dream Hotel, it’s not surprising that he’s performed alongside top name producers such as Kanye West and Kaskade. He’s sure to keep the party going. And of course, EEKO will be closing out the night’s festivities.
Bounce Boat departs from Pier 83 at exactly 8:00PM, but guests are asked to arrive an hour early to ease the process of getting everyone aboard. The event is 18 to party, and 21 to drink and goes from 8:00PM- 12:00AM.
