DJ’s are pointing fingers at each other for “pushing the buttons” during a live set, popular music publications have been caught buying followers on Twitter, and artists have been accused of buying votes in the DJ Mag Poll. We seem to be losing grips on what is important. We seem to have gotten caught up in the popularity and money. Bottom line, we seem to have gotten lost in the abyss of the music industry. We at TheBeatMill want to change that.

We have not engaged in the purchasing social media clout in the past, and we’ll stand by this and vow to operate our site with the highest ideals in mind. We will not lie for the sake of attaining press passes. We will not endorse a track for the sake of being on an artists good side.
