Probably the most tame and down tempo Major Lazer production to date is their track with Amber Coffman of the Dirty Projectors titled Get Free.  This is a tune that has been out for a whitle and I have been definitely vibing to, as it has some of the great reggae sounds from Jamaica, but a little more modern.  If you recognize Amber Coffman’s voice, it is because she did the vocals to Rusko’s Hold On.  In this video it shows a lot of life in Jamaica, and shows that even with plenty of people “expressing themselves,” daggering isn’t dead.  On top of this, this video includes a lot of partying and dancing, and also cameos by Diplo and Amber Coffman.  As with any other Diplo, or Diplo influenced music video, there is plenty of ass shaking to be witnessed in Get Free, but it’s definitely not on the level of his Set It Off video that we posted last night.  Check out the video and chill out to the first single off of Major Lazer’s new album, Major Lazer Frees The Universe, which is to be released later this year on Downtown Records.
