Need another fix for your SJRM addiction? Next Friday you’ll have a chance to get your dose of the duo from Amsterdam at Pacha NYC. If you haven’t seen them perform yet then you haven’t lived; these two put on an absolutely ridiculous show, every single time. Unfortunately, they won’t be at Electric Zoo New York, so they’ll most likely spin until close at 6 AM, like they did back in June.
The Jersey shore crowd had a chance to experience their talent last Sunday at Surf Club, and although I wasn’t in attendance, I heard it was an unbelievable show. If you thought that was crazy, wait til’ you see them throw down at Pacha. They go HARD. Axwell even said “If there were a Dutch version of Swedish House Mafia, it would be Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano.” What’s even more impressive is that they didn’t team up until 2009, although they’re so good you would think they’ve been spinning together for decades.
So, if you’re not going to EZOO then 1). I don’t know what you’re else you’re doing, and 2). Get off the couch and head on over to Pacha to rage with SJRM, for what I guarantee will be an outstanding performance.
Want some more good news? They’ll be back on September 22nd for Size in the Park with the one and only Steve Angello, for an event that will go down in history. I’m not sure why they keep coming back to New York so often. Maybe it’s the bagels and pizza, maybe it’s the fans, and maybe it’s the fact that it’s the best city in the world. But in the end, who really cares? SJRM can play for me any day, anytime, anywhere.
