Its no secret that one of the tracks that defined this summer season was Zedd’s “Spectrum“. With remixes by every big name from A-Trak to Armin van Buuren, there was no doubt that you could bet on hearing “Spectrum” being dropped at every big festival or radio show at least once. We’re excited to see that on October 9th Zedd’s debut album, Clarity, will finally be released on Interscope Records. The album will include the notorious “Spectrum“, which by the way was #1 on Beatport for 18 days. We are anticipating what else Zedd has to offer us as a young producer and DJ.
Aside from dropping this album, Zedd will also be touring with his friend Porter Robinson on the Poseidon Tour this fall. This tour will feature both DJ’s playing a back-to-back set each night, which will give the artists a chance to showcase their creativity and mixing of tracks. Who would have thought that their B2B set at Camp Bisco would lead to an entire tour? Certainly not I, but I’m excited to see this non-the-less. Zedd has certainly made a name for himself in the musical world and I’m intrigued with where he’ll take us in the coming months and years.
