Myndset is something different, something authentic, and something that will BLOW your “mynd.” This DJ/Producer, from Los Angeles, is creating waves of motivation, enjoyment, and musical innovation thanks to his hour-long mixtapes. Rather than simply endorsing his fellow producers’ tracks, Myndset creates something more powerful.

To begin his set, Myndset meshes a famous quote with his opening track. In doing so, he invokes a certain theme/message for his entire set. He expresses that same mood throughout the rest of his mixtape by editing, bootlegging, or remixing whatever songs he believes to be the perfect fit.

In the start of his newest mixtape, The Miraculous Mynd, he begins with:

“The only thing in the world that can take you to your goals in life is your mind. The ultimate creative capacity [of your mind] may be for all practical purposes…infinite…”

He continues his mixtape by incorporating lyrics that relate to the overall message. In doing so, he includes both songs that you would have never heard before as well as the big-room bangers.
